Oh Goody! Now it's "The Clinton Marriage"
I've been hearing all morning about it and now Nora O'Donnell's doing her exclusive on it. :puke: :puke: :puke:

O'Donnell said they refused to talk with her about it. And yet, she has soooooo much information about the details as well as that this is the strategy for her Presidential Run. :eyes:

4. Supposedly, it's now the talk of the town!
"People" are asking questions about the Clinton's marriage. Reporters are 'looking' into things and saying they are living separate lives. :eyes: At least O'Donnell said that it's due to their careers. Well, duhhhhhh!

I suspect it's more media scrutiny to dig dirt and start rumors. Haven't you heard? Hillary's running for president in 2008!

2. An exclusive that they are married
What's the news in that?

Is it because so many rethugs are into their 3rd marriage and the clintons are still only in their first?

Man, the media whores are really worthless.

5. And the Cons are very skilled at being little birds in the media's ears
I'll bet that if I turn on Faux, I'll really get the goods! :sarcasm:

(I turned off the TV and tuned into Stephanie instead)

3. Good lord, is this what the media whores are "reporting" now?

What the hell is so wrong with being a successful couple who have weathered many storms and are still together. Is that not the definition of family values and a solid marriage?
:grr:

7. I'm going to be laughing for a month when Hillary doesn't run
The media has been pushing that Hillary's going to run for president about the 6th year of Bill's presidency. And still, they never give her credit for sticking with him. All they do is stick it to her and Bill in any way possible.

6. They are talking about the NYTimes front pager
tout le left blogosphere is talking about it too.

But not in a good way.

Basic question is--why does the NYTimes have to speak to 50 sources to learn about how the Clinton's marriage is holdin' up?

And why is that Page A1 material?

9. I actually read the article
and it wasn't bad at all. But I agree with the two questions you posted. It really had absolutely nothing new.

10. It'd be tolerable as a NY Times Magazine article
but page A1?

FWIW, the author is getting an earful, here (read the comments):

Maybe soon you can have a color graphic table, like USA Today, comparing the marital status, frequency of sex, unusual (non-monogamous,non-hetero, etc.) orientation suspected of family members, etc. of all the potential presidential candidates, Republican and Democratic.

11. So, where's the article about the health of GOP candidates' marriages?
Edited on Tue May-23-06 12:19 PM by gauguin57
(potential candidates)

Hmmmm? Or the health of their many, many, many PREVIOUS marriages?

Rudy Guiliani? Hmmmm
John McCain? Hmmmm
Newtie? Hmmmmm

How about the GOP shills' marriages?

Rush? Hmmmm ....

C'mon! There are many reasons I don't want Hillary to be the Democrat's nominee. Her marriage is NOT ONE OF THEM. Gee. Two very busy people, who seem bound more by their common goals than by any romantic chemistry between them (hello? are they the first couple to experience that?), spend time apart. STOP THE EFFING PRESSES!!!!!!!!

his wife lives in California where she is alledgely pursuing her acting career. The kids live with their grandparents.
