is the prison system out of control.?? the UN has already charged the US for using Homosexual Rape as Institutional Torture in our prisons.

is the using of ass rape in prisons a scare tactic to control disent..?

3. Yes. The US prisons are notorious for their third-world conditions
and rape in US prisons is not just widespread, but ignored by authorities, and sometimes even used as a scare tactic.

The international organization Human Rights Watch published a horrific research about American prisons:

Also, this report from Salon.com. It tells how rape was widely used as a punishment against protesters during the 1960s.

5. I don't think society has much compassion in this area, sadly
There is a mentality that people in prison deserve to suffer, until it's someone you know.

6. Exactly. Nobody cares about that until...
...a friend or a relative gets incarcerated. Lots of people in this country are slowly waing up to the reality of an infra-human system coexisiting within our society, specially since the draconian laws of the "war on drugs" are sending more and more young people to prison. Notice that they are giving horribly long mandatory sentences to young people for non-violent crimes. And these kids are thrown in prison with murderers, rapists and violent criminals, to fend for themselves against real monsters.

Nobody cares.
