even though both are illegal the Rumsfeld Pentagon acknowledged months ago that inexplicably we are part of the "audience" for various programs " originally intended" for foreign targets.

The National Security Archive got a response to a FOIA request and published the following in January of this year.

I believe that most of the programs from the proposed and "closed" Office of Strategic Influence just kept on growing, including PSYOPS.

These types of crimes are the legacy of Steve Cambone, General Myers, Doug Feith, Dick Cheney and many others imo.

I started a DU thread that discussed how perception management, strategic influence, mind control, whatever term you choose to call this administration's various illegal domestic programs had once been ridiculed as tinfoil yet was documented and well supported by many sources well before the partial official acknowledgements.

from 2000. It is lengthy, technical but something to consider today since we do have domestic psychological operations, NSA surveillance and probably a lot of other illegal domestic programs courtesy of this administration.
