Completely vacuous.

Lyrics are weak and sounds like some blogger on a rant and the music is repetitive and non-distinct.

And I was so looking forward to it after all the rave reviews.


Guess I'll go back to some Steve Earle or James McMurtry (or the new The Raconteurs: Broken Boy Soldiers...*that* rocks!)

They were blurring one into another and the lyrics are too simple and just don't have a good flow to them. It's like he was trying to use certain buzzwords. Comes off sounding forced and artificial.
