Isn't This Deal With Gore Amazing? The non-candidate
who may very probably end up the candidate.

He completely gives up running and does what he is so passionate about.

And it turns out that people are so sick to death of politicians that a non-poitician looks really good to them.

So the man who should have been president but wasn't may become the next president because people are just starting to really like him.

What an amazing turn of events.

1. I don't know, I believe him when he says he isn't running.
I would respect him less if he turned around and said he was.

4. I don't think it would be a "flip flop"
One of his advisers was on Lehrer last nite with a man who writes for Time, I think. I guess people come up to him all the time and tell them they want him to run. People in the Democratic Party have begged him to run.

If his popularity continues to rise based on just who he is now, he might change his mind.

I wouldn't have a problem with that if it happened that way.

2. I always thought he was amazing anyway...
...never bought the lamestream media's portrayal of him. Could see right through that.

3. It will be if he shuns those DLC handlers
who turned him into a conservative automaton in 2000.

Yes, people will vote for a REAL DEMOCRAT. You don't have to take a candiddate, dress him up, and make him sound like a conservative. Governor Brian Schweitzer of Montana should have given the inside the Beltway crowd a massive wakeup call: if you want to win red state votes, act like an ALTERNATIVE to Repug horse's asses.

Gore at his best is still more conservative than I'd like, such is life. However, his current persona is one that will win, if only we can keep the DLC and their corporate lobbyists turned campaign handlers from fucking it up.
