The answer: yes, Clinton could have done more, but Stupid is the one who allowed them to loot California to keep the scam afloat for another year. Only when Jeffords defected from the GOP, giving Democrats control of the Senate and the threat of investigations, did Enron pull back from looting California. And THAT is when it collapsed. The investigations came later.

Maybe THEY don't remember anything, but WE DO.
