Every so often, the mist clears and I can see sunlight in the distance

When the day comes, and it will come, when these bastards are led out of the halls of power in chains and shame and orange jumpsuits, my friends THAT will be a day of joy and celebration. I don’t want retribution — though they surely deserve much, but will get less than they deserve in the short term — I can be satisfied knowing little men like George W. Bush will be consigned to the ignominy of history. I want to turn away from Cheney and Bolton, Rice and Rumsfeld, their craven enablers in the media, and the vichy in our own party, and think of them — no more. Let us look forward to that day, a day I will raise a glass to every year, ever after until the day I die.

1. I can't wait either but we have to make them accountable

I grew up in era of Watergate, everyone was so glad when Nixon resigned but what did that mean
in the long run. Many of those who were in his administration, are still around, still flagrantly abusing the law. We have to make sure that the copycats that come after will realize
that it's not worth it.
