On the reduction in funds to New York by DHS and, in general...Heck of a job Jerk-off(Chertoff). 207 mil in 2005 to 124 mil in 2006 - theres' no history of terrorist in New York!

......From a "Bush Administration Oriented Policy" standpoint there is certainly a logic to this.

After all if New York City or the District is attacked again it means:


(1) Fewer Democrats and liberals.

(2) More reason to stir up the mouthbreathers of the South, West and Midwest all while decreasing the places for we surviving opponents to go for a good protest march.

(3) FoxNews has a secret studio/ bunker complex available for emergency operation in Southern Illinois. All their major stars (except Colmes) have personal escape pods provided to them through earlier DHS grants, so no real harm to the catapulting of propoganda.
