Keith called them on it.

2. Again?
Didn't he just call O'Liely out on something about a WWII massacre he got completely backwards? Did o'Liely respond to that?

4. He said that it was Americans AFTER Malmedy.
Edited on Mon Jun-05-06 07:38 PM by Rufus T. Firefly
Killing in revenge. But that didn't happen.

After liberating the camps, I could have understood if we didn't take SS prisoners (I'll admit that I probably wouldn't have).

It would have been understandible if he really got it backward and apologized - someone who "supports the troops" should fall over himself apologizing. But you don't have to do that if you're always right and never wrong. Wish Clark could have called him out on it.

However to flatly get history wrong, then try to fix it by saying you were right, but just not about the details makes me sick. That and the transcripts of the Mackris calls. :-)

bill o. had rather dissmissed the recent massacure by US troops and
brought up the ww ii incident to show that it happens in all wars (but got it wrong-on purpose).

11. Yea...but the bigger problem is 2 years ago O'Leilly used the same
German massacre incident while interviewing General Clark ...General Clark corrected him then...he was too lazy to verify the truth...and so he intentionally told the same lie....

13. This was not just a BO lie, more likely a GOP talking point.
This line was used this weekend by Pat Buchanan and Duncan Hunter. Although they did state the events following Malmedy. It was still irellevant as Clark pointed out, because Haditha was about the murder of civilians.

16. Yeah, like the German "Werewolf" insurgents who killed all those American
occupation G.I.s after WWII (talking point actually used by Rummy to try to explain how Iraq occupation was the same, except where no GI's were killed by any "werewolves".)
