How British Labour moved to the right (graphic)
An amazing illustration on how Labour moved from left to right.

It says a lot, no? I wonder how the Norwegian Labour would have looked like. Probably something like their UK cousins.

Found by lurking in the UK forum:

1. The same can be said about the DNC under DLC/Clinton tutelage
The facsists are not content on just influencing the Republicans. They are influencing our party too.

3. Do you know if there's something similar
for the Dems during the 90's?

I used to like Blair, and I used to like Clinton. If I had to choose, I'd choose Clinton.

Telco act of 1996

6. Not as a time sequence
but they did analyse the presidential candidates using the same criteria:

Though I don't think it's on the site any more, they did the Democratic candidates too. From memory, Kucinich and Sharpton were in the lower left quadrant; Mosely Braun was pretty much dead centre; then Dean, Edwards and Clark were roughly in the line from there to Kerry, Gephardt was a little beyond that, and Lieberman about halfway between Kerry and Bush. Sorry for any misspellings.

7. Ah, thanks
I saw that too. Strange that in the US it's calculated by candidates, and in the other countries by party, no?

You are so right...
Roving wiretaps started under Clinton. The DLC along with the Republicans will be the end of our nation.

4. Yes, Reaganism and Thatcherism
We never really got back on track, did we?

Was this a natural response to the fall of communism, I wonder? It has to be a wider response than just the produce of the mentioned ideologies, even though they were very powerful.
