1. There are SEVERAL stories floating about how Mr. Zarqawi
ultimately met his demise. I heard yesterday he was taken alive, "turned over to Iraqui forces" and then later died.

Officials suspect Saddam was killed in bombing

WASHINGTON — U.S. intelligence has no clear information on Saddam Hussein's whereabouts, but the betting in the Pentagon's executive offices is that the Iraqi dictator lies dead under a pile of rubble in Baghdad, according to defense and intelligence officials.

But the theory given most credence is that Saddam died in Monday's bomber attack on a home near a Baghdad restaurant.
"The official take from the Pentagon is that Saddam is 'unfound,' " a senior defense intelligence official said on condition of anonymity. "Most along the E-Ring (the Pentagon's outermost hallway and executive suite) think he's under the rubble."
A Defense Department intelligence official said an abrupt end to an electronic intelligence intercept of Iraqi leadership conversations indicated that Saddam and his sons were at the site at the time of the bombing.
"The signal died when the bombs hit," the official said.

12. I had forgotten about the chest/lung shooting.

There is a thread in LBN in which someone posted that apparently the rumor going around is that Zarqawi tried to jump off the gurney and run. The rumors and legends on both parts seem to be all over the place right now.

It is pretty clear that he was taken alive but managed to die, once again, anyway.
Great post Roland-a keeper.

what a surprise :sarcasm:

There were alot of people here taking abuse because they were questioning this whole event yesterday. I can't understand why there are still so many people out there willing to believe any of this garbage that we are fed anymore.

14. I thought he looked alive in one pic they showed yesterday.
The one that looked like it could be a gurney.

So they put him back in rubble, for the death shot, after he err..succumbed?

Also I have no doubt that the framed pic is for the sick chimp.

Remember him wanting somebody's head put on dry ice and shipped to him so he could put it on a stick?

I forget which #2 that was.
But, I think that was revealed on Russert's show.
