Interesting re: Rove

Nothing about the Rove thing on Fitzgerald's Web site:

So far, all we know is what Robert Luskin, Rove's lawyer, has said. I don't think he's lying. But is he telling the whole truth? I doubt it. One has to wonder if there isn't more going on that we don't know.

I sure as heck wish Fitzgerald would make a public statement about this.

1. I can't think of a time when Fitzgerald's office has ever commented...

...on a case, outside of their legal filings.

I'm sure that Luskin is well aware of that fact.

2. How many times has BushCo "gotten ahead of the story"...

... and make it sound like it's either "good news" or "not so bad
news," like Abu Ghraib, Hurricane Katrina, etc.?

One has to wonder if they might be wagging the dog a bit today.

the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
