2. she lied--Iraqi women didn't have to wear the veil under Saddam
he was a confirmed Westerner. Since we deposed him, thus giving the Mullahs more power they have to cover up for the first time in a generation.

Republicans turn the clock back.

5. Wasn't it strange
that almost her whole speech was about women's rights? How stupid is she? Even if the war had gone well one of the biggest shames is the set back to women's rights there. You're right about the veil but there are set backs of all kinds. There are more honor killings. Women use to go to universities and have all sorts of jobs, now they often can't because their husband's won't "let them" for religious reasons. The unemployment rate is even higher for women than for men. Women were equal before, no more, no more.

With the Taliban rising back up in Afghanistan any temporary gain is gone again.

Really...she must be even more stupid than I thought. There are many fake reasons to say our cause is worthy but what we have done to women isn't even good as a lie.
Someone should tell her about google.

6. she's just generally strange--I'm surprised she didn't cackle and shriek

"MURTHA IS A CUT N RUNNER HE HE HE HAAAA" as she left the podium.

Her whole speech was a duplicitous mishmash calculated to make it look like Republicans care about women. BS. They approve mass execution of them by all the evidence.

4. She's a junior rep, her talking points
are crafted by Denny "Slim" Hastert http://thinkprogress.org/2006/06/15/hastert-pictures-of-corruption/
and other Republican "leaders".
