My rep is one of the 42....
I am SO fucking angry right now, been on the phone to every Dem I know in my town tonight and it's not going well.

Rep. Collin Peterson
http://collinpeterson.house.gov/

He is running unopposed this fall, everybody here loves him...... the good old 2nd Amendment loving, pro-life Dem that has been round here for 20 odd years, and he's a ranking member of the AG committee...

and at the end of the day, he supports this war enough to show up and vote.

4. I just saw McCarthy's website or I would have called
The last time I called was when she voted for the bankruptcy bill and I blasted her rep.
They don't seem to care until election time comes

7. Time to enlist someone in the community
to run against them.

I know it can be difficult, but that's the only option a lot of Dems have. If their ineffectual candidates or incumbents are not able to fulfill their constituents' wishes, they need to be removed. It's a WAR now, and while it is going to be difficult to deal with the shitheads who have already been elected and aren't up this fall, then we have 2 years to get ready to change some of them out.

The main problem other than Diebold machines, from what I see, is going to be the perception to the main voting public that things can't be changed. WE need to find ways to make them change that attitude and get out and vote and be active, regardless.

8. Okay, take a breath
Randi explained that today was mostly a photo op for the fall elections. The vote didn't count, for anything. Those dems who voted yes, did it only to appease their rightys back home, so they could get re-elected. And even if he is unopposed, doesn't mean that he doesn't hear from the right. Again, it was a nothing vote.

Instead she said that dems got on the record with some really great digs at repubs, and to be proud of that.

9. Randi is a Democratic Party apologist
which is one of the reasons I don't listen to her any more. Dems need to stop standing for the photo op votes and show some character - most of them haven't and won't. And I don't believe for one minute that the unopposed DINO that the OP is talking about had one concern about the folks back home when the vote was cast.
