Clinton didn't glaringly break and ignore laws, but is remembered fondly by the republicans as a criminal of the highest order. Oh how they wailed, "no man is above the rule of law, not even the president, especially the president". One little lie, you'd have thought the world had ended.

Now? Bush has broken and stomped over at least 800 major laws. Big laws, not fibs about you know what but big, big, constitutional laws.

What a difference a couple dirty elections and the supreme court makes.

2. Did you mean 1998?
Or are you referring to someone other than Clinton?

laws apply only to democrats. after all, democrats are godless liberal evil-doers, ne'er-do-wells, drug addicts, and welfare queens. therefore, laws are needed to keep them from destroying themselves, the country, and all that is good and holy and right in this world.

republicans, on the other hand, are god-fearing, industrious patriots. they do not need to be, nor can they in any real sense be, subject to any law of mere men, for they are bound by their very character to god's law and can do no wrong.

6. That thread title is waiting for a freeway blogger to use it.
Heck, how about a coordinated freeway blogging nationwide in all major areas?

The glaring hypocrisy of the Republican Party.
