Trailer up for a 911 Families film

I was asked to rewrite parts of the script for this film. The trailer is now up, not the official trailer, but a temp trailer. Check it out on Google:

7. I know that the guy who distributed outfoxed picked this up

but I am not privy to details of distribution as I am a lowly writer... I did get a trip to NYC out of it and I got to work with some of the stars who were considered for narration, but other than that, I am not really in the loop on this one:) Just in the credits.

5. actually, it does not talk

about what could have happened or any theories, it simply shows how the administration pushed back against the 911 families and how the 911 families made an investigation happen and the questions that they put forth, what was answered and what was not. it does not take a position. it let's everyone speak for themselves. my part was take all the interviews done of the Jersey girls for this film and to write a script for those interviews... the majority of the rest of the film is the war between the administration and the families, which includes every political party and affiliation. so it will be hard to attack frankly. plus many of the journalists and experts interviewed in the film are also conservative and also wanted an investigation, so again, hard to really attack when you see the administration's owns words... like the clip of Cheney saying "an investigation would interfere would the war on terror"

9. eh, i will be more than happy to take her on...

actually this is funny, Playboy wanted me to do the news for their XM show and one of the things they talked about was me and Coulter fighting in the mud... obviously this was not something I had an interest in, the mud fight that is. But any time, any place, I will debate her and I will do so on any topic. she is simply a media byproduct and she needs to be ignored so that she is flushed out of the media digestive system.

8. oh, the DVD version will have many interviews that

they could not fit into the film, including Greg Palast, Helen T, Walter Cronkite, Gore Vidal, John Dean, and many others (although I may be speaking to soon as the fine cut does not include them, but the final cut might). In any case, they will be included one way or another.

I have no idea what happened on 911, but there is no question the election was stolen. Someone should make a documentary about that as well.

In any case, this is not like loose change and people may be disappointed. This is really about the families, their questions, and their fight to force an investigation. I was at a screening and there was not a dry eye in the house and people walked away understanding the need to question government in an open democracy, regardless of what people believe did or did not happen on that day. The reality of which I think is impossible to say with any certainty.

Aside from all that, I go where the story is... Ohio was and continues to be yet another ground zero in this perverted presidency. Okay, must go write up my op piece for deadline...thanks much btw.:)

Will it be shown in theaters or straight to DVD? Is there a release date? I hope it's by the 5th anniv of 9-11.

This will be a perfect compliment to the release of Kristen Breitweiser's book in Sept. BTW, I never knew that Kristen was suffering a serious health crisis in Sept 2001, that makes her courage to challenge the Bush and Repuke administration all the more remarkable IMHO.
