Jessica Lunsford killer's confession thrown out of court.

These detectives suck ass. They travel to Georgia to interview him, and just screw it all up. This guy murdered and tortured a little girl, and they didn't get an attorney when he asked for one. This makes me fucking ill.

I am pretty much against the death penalty, but there are surely some cases where I think some people just don't deserve to be alive.

And don't get me started on the sister who covered for his ass.

1. about time for those detectives to be finished as cops...any kind of cop..
...that's such gross incompetence it shows they should never be handed a badge again.
hoping they still have enough evidence to get a conviction....if finding the body is also thrown out the prosecution may face a herculean task, however....

5. It looks like that won't be thrown out.
It just astounds me, knowing that the confession could be thrown out if he wasn't provided an attorney, that they continued the interrogation.

2. The detectives knew what they were doing
Edited on Fri Jun-30-06 07:05 PM by Poppyseedman
They were racing against time to find Jessica alive, so they they thought getting him to confess was a lot more important than waiting for him to "lawyer up"

This POS will still fry, there is lots of evidence to convict them.

His sister needs to spend every waking moment she has left on this earth in prison.

6. Now the law allows prosecution for those covering for sex offenders
She knew he was there, how she didn't know the girl was there, I don't know. A little girl is dead because she covered for a shit.

Just put one between his eyes and throw him in the dump.

4. That's the problem with "The Old West" Florida law enforcement
the "Bush" stlye of law enforcement.....one day they end up getting caught and this is what happens....they went to another state...the conversation was taped....and there you have it.....had he been in Florida....the tape would have disappeared....we wouldn't even be hearing about it....

He is a piece of scum...and he deserves the worst punishment...

7. Same with some who are actually terrorist who may get off because
they weren't provided counsel or weren't even charged. And, the folks in Gitmo who weren't terrorists will have a wonderful reason to become them when they are released.

That poor kid was alive when she was buried. As I said, I am pretty much against the death penalty, but this guy doesn't deserve to live.
