Future question Americans will be asking?
Why did America follow a moron? Their guts told them everything he did was wrong but they followed anyway. On war, on taxcuts, on the economy, on deficits, on cuts in social programs, everything. His instincts were those of a moron. And our nation followed him. Why?

2. I suggest that there will be a
solid 25% of the populace who will put bush in the same category they put reagan; that everything bush has(had) done has been what is best for the country. They'll be a move to put him on Rushmore. This will be done by people too ignorant and way too proud to admit they were wrong from day one; and these people continue to vote.

3. a lot of folks will (somehow) vehemently argue that Bush is not
a moron (or "moran" to be more correckt... lol). A lot of folks have bought the lie that Bush is an everyday Joe and that he is just being called a moron by the educated Elite Left and is being attacked by people who hate him for no reason.

In other words, thanks to the RW attack on education, the press, information, and open discourse, we have become a nation where a bunch of morons will vote for their own and crow about it.

4. "Did the U.S. really used to be a super-power?"
"How am I going to get enough food to survive today?"

"What is a 'middle class'?"

Stuff like that.

5. H.L. Mencken wrote about a moron in the White House:
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

H.L. Mencken (1880 - 1956)

8. You're so right, alyce. We should've taken to the streets; put up 80 foot
...projection screens like Obrado in Mexico had, and let the people and world see the coup d'tat happening; show the filled up punchcard machines; the flawed "Butterfly ballot", the former registered as republican-turned-registered Democrat Theresa Lapore who designed it; long, long lines; the flown in Repub Texans and Washingtonians banging on the glass windows to stop democracy as people did hand-recounts (which included bushy-lip Bolton).

Instead, we bought the "America is a democracy. There are no masses violently protesting in the streets and causing chaos. We are a nation of laws, and this issue was settled peacefully in the courts." and didn't hear the tremble of fear in repuke's voices when uttering this nonsense.

Yeah. Nation of laws. Courts. Look what good that's gotten us!

It all started in 2000 when the heavily financed Bush cabal usurped democracy, and crowned Dubya king, and silenced the will of the people as America became a fascist country where corporations aren't held accountable for anything, but are entitled to everything while counting our votes to ensure republican domination to time indefinite.

But the Democratic Leadership is not innocent in all of this either. They should've called us to arms; should've threatened civil unrest if the recount didn't continue, and no matter how big a mouth a repuke has, when facing the threat of violence, they always, always, back down.

But our Democratic leadership was silent; complacent, and urged us all not to protest; urged us to accept Dubya stole our voices; urged us to sit down and be still while repukes danced laughingly around us; calling us "sore-losermans", and swallowed our pride.
