1. He is NOT stumping for Lieberman he is stumping for Hillary
and her pro-Bush votes.

2. Bill may not hold grudges, but you can't say the same for Hillary. . .
which is why she witheld her support for Joe.

3. This will not enhance the standing of either man, I wager.
Bill can get votes---for himself. For Joe---not so much.

4. Gosh, maybe he'll be able to take Poppy and Barbara Bush
with them. If the plane has only one bed, he can sleep at its foot.

7. Big Dawg's a bit out of touch these days.

I'm not sure he's fully aware of what the DLC's turned into in his absence. Or perhaps he is--and is in favor of the clubby-corporatist go-along/get-along faux centrist bullshit espoused by the DLC and its offshoots. He's a founding member, after all.

8. He probably can't resist making Lieberman beholden to him.
Showing him up by being able to attract the crowds that Lieberman can't pull on his own behalf ... but it's a dumb move anyway.

12. Another high point in the history of Waterbury
Edited on Thu Jul-20-06 01:31 PM by KamaAina
along with the PedoPhil Giordano administration, the loss of their minor league baseball team, and the catastrophic flood of '55. :sarcasm:

And now the Big Dawg -- our last elected President! -- chooses the Brass City to campaign for someone who may yet end up running as a repuke. Ye gods.

edit: I myself once spoke to a statewide autism conference in Waterbury. Perhaps that should have been on the list... :-)

13. Waterbury is the hellhole of CT and a perfect place for
Clinton to become the new John McCain...What IS it with these "men" who grant even a moment of their time to those who have maligned them?

I am totally done with BOTH Clintons now and I'll be there to show them both my appreciation.
