6. A friend in Chicago went to watch a speech by Tom

He was going to speak at some white supremacist church across from a park. My friend, like me, had written his high school senior research paper on the resurgence of white supremacy (this was back in 1991) and wanted to see Tom in action. He gave his normal speech, and after the speech was over, they brought out the picnic lunch that everyone (all 20 of them) were going to feast on including bottles of beer to wash it all down.

The beer turned out to be Corona.

My friend left because the unintentional, ignorant irony was getting too thick.
