With The Focus on Lebanon I Missed The Slaughter in Gaza *graphic*
They bombed a refugee camp?

A Palestinian security officer shows the full fridges of the morgue at the Deir al-Balah hospital in the central Gaza Strip after the Israeli military shelled the nearby Maghazi refugee camp. Israel pressed on with its air, sea and ground offensive on the Gaza Strip, where nearly 100 people have been killed in two weeks, warning civilians that homes storing weapons were now a target.(AFP/Samuel Aranda)

2. What's happening in
Gaza is nothing short of collective punishment, and it's a lot worse in its impact on the everyday life of the Palestians than Lebanon. Gaza is one of the most densely populated places on earth, it's desperately poor, and there's no working gov't due to internal strife and external pressures and destruction of gov't infrastructure.

3. Kofi Annan spoke about Gaza today
this is the West's way of dealing with people when they don't like who you elect. I hope I am alive when payback comes for the continuous slaughter of the Palestinians and now the Lebanese. Meanwhile Bolton says - kill away - we haven't reached our goals yet.

4. It's not the first time they bombed a refugee camp
Short a revelation -- something along the lines of "Ya know, this reckless killing ain't working and has never worked. Let's try something new" -- I don't think it'll be the last time either.

It is very sad to see the same cycles of violence playing out over...and over...and over...and....
