What is going on is a proxy war.

hamasbulla > Iran
Israel > US/Europe

This started when the west cut hamas off from the money tit. Iran is using events to at minimum distract from the European/US pressure to stop its bomb program.

All events downstream lead to this.

So my suggestion is to pick a side in this war. That way your position is clear. This war may expand to include syria, and possibly, iran.

We know people die in wars. We know civilians die. 30 million dies in ww2. 400 are dead so far. (3 days of traffic deaths here). Both sides kill civilians.

Read up on the history of the region and wars that happened LONG before we sold Israel guns.

Just pick a side. Be clear on where you stand.

I stand with Israel.

No Side, NO advocacy is a valid position. However peace is out of control of individuals. I would prefer peace, but that is not on the table as a realistic choice since both sides have chosen to extend diplomacy into war.

My post is directed to those selling one side over the other under the cover of bullshit.

5. Europe has been critical of Israel in the past and current.

Also, Hezbollah does NOT equal Lebanon. They have a fragile government in place who is trying to deal with Hezbollah the best that they can. 40% of the Lebanon is Christian and they are NOT sympathetic to Hezbollah.

Ultimatly, I will chose peace, but you "convienently" left that choice off of the list. :eyes:

I am not trying to pick a fight with folks. Just would like people to identify their positions. There is a lot of used car selling being done.

I do like the post downstream about backing those who support a negotiated peace. That would be the best outcome. Some stable solution.

I agree they could use aimed rifle fire or attack troop or infrastructure targets in israel with car bombs without firing blindly.

refuses to acknowledge hezbollah because they are terrorists and hezbollah refuses to acknowledge Israel as a country. So, what do you do? Stay the hell out... let them figure it out and stop funding either side.. when each country loses their aid and their money the war will stop really fast.
