"This little man is now holding our future in his hands" Dr. Eric Chivian
Bush unscripted
July 21, 2006

LIKE THE Wizard of Oz with the curtain pulled aside, President Bush was caught with the microphone on at the G-8 meetings, revealing his true self -- an irritable, vulgar, immature man with essentially no understanding of what is going on in the world and nothing substantive to say to his fellow world leaders

During his lifetime, he has broken almost everything he has touched. The enormous tragedy for us all, and if we are silent, what will be our enormous shame, is that this little man is now holding our future in his hands.

Dr. ERIC CHIVIAN
Boston

The writer shared the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize for cofounding the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War.

3. This is absolutely correct.
Lately, I've been feeling that if Bush is not removed before the end of his term, this "little man" is going to do irreporable harm to the U.S. and the world.

7. We can't wait until 2008.
I was a poet and didn't know it.

Congress must be retaken and impeachment accomplished!

Election fraud, if shown to be the case, must be met with massive civil disobedience.

8. It's really crunch time now. all the years we've spent loathing Bush
have mostly been in anticipation of what terrible damage he could do and would do, we feared.
Well now he's really doing it--the course he has stayed has brought the world down to the lowest cesspit of human possibilities: failed states, civil wars, genocides. The cause and the effect are finally in the room together. And Bush is braying with his mouth full.
