Will the Iraqi PM's address to Congress save the GOP in November?
This speech is nothing more than political theater to try to convince the American people that everything is going well in Iraq. The man is a prop being used to try to deflect more damage from bad policy prior to the election. Wonder if Lieberman will be front and center in the audience and grinning broadly.

1. I don't think so
For one thing the Iraqi PMs said more than enough negative things about Iraq, and I suspect he will continue to do so. He might lay off during that speech, but it's not like this, in and of itself, is going to be enough to convince people to all go vote for Republicanoids.

And I don't think they expect that either; otherwise they would have pushed it down to early september.

3. One of the studio props used by the "Trend Monger" in Chief.
TREND MONGER is a person who dreams up a TREND (like 'The Twist' ---or 'Flower Power'), and spreads it throughout the land, using all the frightening little skills that Science has made available!

4. The only thing that will save the GOP in November is the voting machines
being manipulated (again) to give the GOP the edge. That is all they can depend on. They have nothing else, the war is very unpopular, so is the President, Vice President, Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense, etc.

They have nothing other than cheating, lying, and deceiving to keep them in office.

5. I hope everyone on this site
Has contacted the person in charge of elections in their respective county as well as the person in charge in their state, with a copy to the governor. They all need to know that we are aware and watching. I am on a first name basis with the person in my county and she is sympathetic to my concerns. She answers every email and provides me with email addresses to anyone else I want to contact.

6. If this was a puppet who had been installed by a Dem administration...
Edited on Wed Jul-26-06 11:20 AM by NNN0LHI
...at the cost in lives and money it has cost to install this guy not one Republican would have attended this game of three card monty today. And they would have called it like it is. Every other word out of their mouths would be puppet from now until election day.

Take that to the bank.
