My friend just burned me a couple of his songs. I like some rap but it has to say something for the most part...Anyway, the beats are not the best, but the lyrics are good. Check this verse out

2. simple, piano 4/4 drum structure...

Dont know how far you go back, but do you remember the rapper Paris, its sort of like that. It can get a bit repetitive, but the lyrics are a liberal dream. I listened to rap when I was younger and still like some of the new stuff...Outkast, Kanye, some tupac, some of The Roots stuff. But most the rap on my IPOD is older stuff...PE, BDP, etc.
