When will they strip Lieberman Of His Dem Committeeship Positions?
He is not a democrat anymore, actually never was, only in name but since he is actually running as a Independent and fighting the democratic party, how does he keep those key posts?

Poll: Lieberman ahead, high favorability
By SUSAN HAIGH, AP Political Writer

HARTFORD, Conn. - Ned Lamont, whose anti-war campaign rattled the political landscape with a victory over Sen. Joe Lieberman in the Democratic primary, is gaining voter support — but Lieberman still leads the race by double digits, a poll released Thursday shows.
The latest numbers also reveal some serious challenges that Lamont faces in trying to win over the unaffiliated voters he'll likely need to win the election in November.

Quinnipiac University has regularly surveyed registered voters across the state about the Senate race, and it has found over the past three months that Lieberman's support has changed little while Lamont's support has jumped:

1. Never, because they're all sniveling insiders.
...which is what we're trying to change...starting with Lamont.

2. I'm not sure.
I'd guess it would be after the election since he is still technically the serving elected Democrat for the state.

Will he for sure lose them if he wins as an independent?

4. Never - the latest poll #s will have them kissing Lieberman's ass.
I wouldn't be surprised if 7-10 Senate Dems endorse Lieberman.

5. I heard on an interview with Russ Feingold
on a Sunday show I think that Reid was not going to do that - and that Russ agreed with it because during this current term Joe LIEberman was elected as a Democrat and at least unti the end of this current term he should stay in those positions

I don't agree with this and have called Reid's office twice about it - but I'm betting it won't happen. Maybe its just as well "they" might use it against Ned in the campaign.

6. It's not going to happen, he is an elected Democrat

he is a registered Democrat he caucuses with the Democrats, it is wrong to say he is not a Democrat because he is. If one wants to use the DINO term that is their opinion but the facts are the facts.

8. I believe he stopped being a Dem when he decided to run third-party.
However, you're correct that he's still in the term that he won as a Democrat.

7. as soon as he looses
they are just insuring that if he looses, they haven't burnt their bridges with him, so he will still vote for democratic leadership in the senate. the problem is, Lieberman is busy dropping matches everywhere he goes.
