Now in its fourth year, the war has taken a toll — more than 2,600 Americans have died and many more Iraqis have been killed. Last month alone, about 3,500 Iraqis died violently, the highest monthly civilian toll so far. Bush's approval rating has slumped to the lowest point of his presidency, and Republicans are concerned that they could lose control of Congress because of voters' unhappiness.

Bush said he was frustrated by the war at times.

"War is not a time of joy," he said. "These are challenging times, and they're difficult times, and they're straining the psyche of our country. I understand that. You know, nobody likes to see innocent people die. Nobody wants to turn on their TV on a daily basis and see havoc wrought by terrorists."
------------

ALL THROUGH his press conference yesterday the ape vacillated between talking about horrors and terrors and mass genocide and admitting to lying us into war and admitting that there were no WMD's HE LAUGHED.

He laughed, like he was Jerry Seinfeld, there only for the laughs, giggling, grinning, always at the wrong times. Cracking up the press who were laughing AT HIM.

History will note with a grimace all his goofing while all that suffering was going on by his decree. Fucker.

1. Did I hear Bush talk about seer-sucker suits?
It was unbelieveable how adolescent he appeared when we have 130,000 soldiers getting shot at for no good reason overseas.

4. I have gotten to where I cannot listen to him.
It is better for me to get the description here. I am simply too appalled by his buffoonery to watch it take place.

6. from fits of self righteous anger -- lecturing the reporters
like children -- to fits of giggles -- presuming a familiarity that he doesn't feel.

and the reporters -- well they are part of the problem aren't they?

when he puts on his show of self righteous indignation -- they kowtow.
they pretend they have been chastised -- that suddenly some light bulb that is beyond the ken of the average american has come on -- and they undrstand and will carry bush's message to the american cow herd.

7. He is bizzare
It makes you wonder if he really is suffering from some sort of mental illness. He belongs in a rubber room and not the oval office.
