McDonald's Hummer Contest - take your best shot!
Everybody had some fun with the online Chevy Tahoe commercial. How about sending some DU love to McDonald's and Hummers?

SOUND OFF ON MCDONALD'S HUMMER GIVEAWAY WITH RONALD'S SIGN-O-MATIC

http://www.ronaldmchummer.com/airamerica.php

Americans who care about clean air, global warming and children's health are outraged that McDonald's is giving away toy Hummers with Happy Meals. Now tell the world - and McDonald's - how you feel.

Introducing the Ronald McHummer Sign-O-Matic, which lets you write your own slogan about the Hummer giveaway, display it on a McDonald's marquee, and send a message to the president of the fast-food chain. The site, www.RonaldMcHummer.com, is not affiliated with or endorsed by McDonald's or General Motors.

"McDonald's has helped make American kids the fattest in the world, so now they're looking for new ways to promote an unhealthy lifestyle," said EWG President Ken Cook. "They're selling future car buyers on the fun of driving a vehicle that emits 39 times more smog- forming chemicals than the cleanest cars on the road."

McDonald's is giving away eight different Hummer models with purchase of a Happy Meal or a Mighty Kids Meal. They plan to hand out 42 million toy Hummers during the promotion.

Visit the RonaldMcHummer.com and send a message to Ralph Alvarez, president of McDonald's North America in Oak Brook, Ill. Send your message now!

1. Your subject line leaves little to the imagination...
:spray:

Mine would read "Now even you can have a hummer! And it's safer than the usual ones you find on the streets!"

3. My seven year old came home with one the other day...
He went with some neighbors and their kids. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. He wants them all now :eyes: Good thing we rarely do McD's.

1991 Ford LTD Crown Victoria in urban Florida
(5.0L., Automatic)

479x The 1991 Ford LTD Crown Victoria emits 479 times more harmful nitrogen oxide chemicals that threaten the health of asthma sufferers than the 2000 Buick LeSabre (the cleanest 1985-2000 large car)..

Scores for all 1991 large cars range from 7 (cleanest) to 10 (dirtiest)

Worse than typical 1991 large car? Your vehicle emits more smog chemicals than a typical 1991 large car. (FAQ)
High miles vehicle? Higher miles vehicles have more wear and tear and pollute more. (FAQ)
Lax emissions requirements? This vehicle uses outdated technology or takes advantage of loopholes that allow trucks, SUVs, vans, and minivans to pollute more than passenger cars. (FAQ)

Geeze fine I'll buy a new car. Yikes. I only paid $600 for it and the air blows cold. As for protesting the giving away of toy cars in happy meals. I find the so called food at MCd's much more offensive than the toys. Teach your kids some taste.

16. I have the winning entry right here:

The McDonald's marquee is in the picture and it perfectly expresses a McDonald's hummer without even using any words!
