Might I suggest a "Light Dinner" before viewing
The Path to 911....

Now before you get to slamming me by asking why are you even going to watch this. I will tell you right off... I want to know what I am talking about... I want to know what I am boycotting Disney for, and I think the only reasonable, intelligent thing to do is to watch the show for lies....

Now back to Dinner.... Any suggestions for a light meal in case those of us with delicate sensibilities might need to :puke:

1. Good luck with your mental health as you're watching (no snark intended)
I don't have the fortitude right now to even attempt to watch. I have even have to get away from DU frequently today, because I'm getting too anxious/depressed/angry with all this shit. :argh: :puke: :banghead:
Again, good luck with the viewing. I hope not many folks watch.

2. Crackers and ginger ale?
I hear they are good for an upset stomach.

I may also try to watch, if I can find out what time it is on. I'll have to take the television out of the closet.

5. I'm sure the time is on abc's website.
Since no one answered your question on the other thread, I thought I'd pop in. I don't know either, but I don't want to know.:)

8. 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 Central.
Well, you would think I would have thought of that. I didn't. Thanks a lot.

I have 3 hours to unearth the television. Not only is it in the closet, I put stuff on top of it. Last time I used it was the State of the Union fictional performance by the fictional president.

:hi: Thanks again.

9. You watched the State of the Union, too?
And now you're going to watch this? I'm in awe, and I don't mean that in a snarky way. I won't watch, but I'll probably sneak a peek at the running commentary here. Thank God for those with stronger stomachs. Good luck finding the TV.:hi:

12. You give me too much credit.
(Though I definitely deserve a gold medal for having watched the SOTU address. It ruined my dinner, in more ways than one. I unscrewed the top of the oregano and poured. About 3 ounces landed on my Fetuccine Alfredo, and I couldn't scrape enough off.)

I will watch enough of this docuDRAMA to see if some of my former coworkers are in it. When we were offered the parts, it sounded like a bad idea to me, so I didn't go. I ran into a few of them later, and they had been paid very well. I wondered if that was to quell their consciences. I'll see tonight. Maybe. Even if they were in this one, they could have been cut.

I will try to be stalwart, but it won't last long. I'll check in here for the updates. That will be much easier.

10. Might I suggest
A couple of Dramamine to help combat the motion sickness you'll undoubtedly get if you watch the horrible camera work used in the film and failing that a couple of aspirin to help cope with the headache you'll get if you watch.

11. I just don't feel like sitting and watching shit for 2 hours for 2 days
Edited on Sun Sep-10-06 04:25 PM by madmunchie
My life is too important to me to waste on this crap. I will "hear" enough about it for the next week or so from both sides, as more time is spent off of the real issues and on this "planted" diversionary ploy. I am tired of the assholes controlling the conversations. As long as we "watch" so that "we know" what "we" are talking about, they have won PERIOD. F**K That, I've had it.

15. I'd eat a lot of hard candy or crunchy fruit or vegetable so that as
the bullshit is being played and frustration levels go up you could take some of the frustration out on chewing something of substance.
