'Jack Who?'
Jack Abramoff wasn't just a friend of George Bush. He was much more then that. He was a member of Bush's inner circle.

Abramoff and Rove got their start with the College Republicans. While Bush was Governor of TX, there were probably numerous contacts over the years. Especially when Bush helped close down one tribe's casino in the name of anti-gambling christianity, so that Abramoff's clients could open up a different casino and become the only casino in TX.

Then Abramoff went on to become a Bush Pioneer during the 2000 campaign and was rewarded with a post on BUSH'S TRANSITION TEAM. Abramoff retained his Pioneer status again in 2004. This is not just some dude that Bush can barely remember. Abramoff was a key player on the team. Just like Ken Lay, the other dude that Bush can't seem to remember anymore. Remember only Bush's closest advisors and party operatives were in on the planning of the Bush Presidency. Remember that next time Bush puts that stupid look on his face and says 'Jack Who?'

3. Scotty, does the president know scooter libby?
They may have met once or twice and no doubt like two thirds of the world's population, this libby person you mentioned probably has had his picture taken with the president.

4. Bush was also a POLITICAL STRATEGIST working WITH Atwater and Rove
Edited on Mon Jan-23-06 08:52 AM by blm
throughout the 70s and 80s - JUST LIKE JACK ABRAMOFF. No doubt they worked together on their dirty tricks and schemes. That's what they did. That's how they got ahead.

The media doesn't like to mention that greater part of Bush's resume. They want the public to think that Bush isn't political when he's the MOST POLITICAL President in history. He's ALL about politics and doesn't care one whit about governance and crafting good policy for this nation.

5. Being political
is much easier than good governance or crafting good policy. bush is lost when it comes to anything requiring a mental exercise. I'm sure deserting to avoid a drug test was an extreme brain hurting exercise for him, must - desert!!

9. They probably all got drunk together
and snorted tons of that sweet Peruvian flake that Jeb could get with his Iran Contra contacts.

Maybe that's why none of them can remember anything? :sarcasm:

6. Everything Bush says, about anything, leads to one of three conclusions
he is one of the following (or a combination of any of the three):

Stupid as hell,

Completely incompetent,

or

A liar. A shameless liar.

10. Bush....
should just admit that he knows Abramoff and that they have met. As soon as he and Scott McLelland (?) started saying that the guy had never met Bush, I am sure that 10,000,000 people were accessing the internet looking for photos.

11. I'd love to see the google logs for the last week
Every combination of Bush and/or Abramoff and/or anything even remotely related, with everything from a Kickapoo Indian to a golf club. There's got to be something out there somewhere.
