40. I've heard this before
And I've dismissed it as a pure fantasy. Seems to me, he'd need the assent and cooperation of the country he's trying to annex.

And there's no fucking way he'd get his hands on our country without a fight from us Canadians.

We're reknowned for our resistance to American Imperialists. We don't go in for grandiose schemes of invading countries for oil or for political conquests. It cuts into our canoeing time.

Look it up.

Edited on Thu Sep-28-06 05:26 PM by Solly Mack
were being made lawful with the fence act(fencing in America)

Now, let's say that again

borders...legal borders...that have been in place for hundreds of years...are now being called "unlawful" borders that must be fenced in...to create "lawful" borders

this is why you hear "the rule of law" the most from those who have no intention of following the law...they cloak their abuses in law and claim it's right because it's legal...just like Hitler did

Top U.S. official chaired N. America-confab panel
Agency says he attended secretive meeting in official capacity as assistant secretary

Thomas Shannon, assistant secretary, Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs
At the recent high-level confab of the North American Forum in Banff, an assistant U.S. secretary of state chaired a panel that featured a presentation by Prof. Robert Pastor, author of a book promoting the development of a North American union as a regional government and the adoption of the amero as a common monetary currency to replace the dollar and the peso.

State Department spokesman Eric Watnik confirmed to WND that Thomas A. Shannon attended the Sept. 12-14 meeting of the North American Forum in his official capacity as assistant secretary of state for Western Hemisphere Affairs.

As WND previously reported, the forum was closed to the press. WND has published the attendee list and the agenda of the conference which was leaked to WND by Canadian writer and publisher Mel Hurtig.

In numerous publications, professional presentations and testimony to Congress, Pastor has called for NAFTA to be evolved into a European Union-like regional government, ultimately complete with a legislative, judicial and executive institutional structure that would have supremacy over the United States.

46. Yes, that's why I said it was not a reliable source.
Some of what he says seems to be based on fact (like the trade routes and expedited customs), but there are a lot of embellishments there that aren't confirmed by any other source. Other RW sources have repeated his allegations as fact, but I haven't seen any evidence that he's right.

There are some documents obtained by FOIA in this thread discussing SPP.

Why do you think Vincente Fox was able to come here last spring and speak so harshly to Junior in public about illegal immigration? The borders are already gone.

34. Why do you think that they are ignoring border security?
They'll use illegal immigrants as a wedge issue until after the elections, then they are home free. I've heard about this North American Union for a while now. There will be no need for border security when there are no borders to secure. There is also no need for a constitution, a bill of rights, or the declaration of independence anymore.

Deep Integration Planned at Secret Conference Ignored by the Media

Here's the scandal that should be outraging Canadians across the country. On September 12-14, elite proponents of deep integration from Canada, the U.S. and Mexico met at a secret conference at the Banff Springs Hotel. Stockwell Day, Tom d'Aquino and other high-profile Canadians were there. But the Hotel doesn't want to talk about it. No major media reported on the conference--not The Globe and Mail, not the National Post, not the Toronto Star, no one. Yet the topic of the conference, deep integration or the formation of a "North American Community" aka the North American Union, will profoundly affect everything in our lives from our health and security to the currency we use (soon to be the "Amero") to our very national identity. In essence, we will no longer be Canadians, but North Americans only--and worse, North Americans hog-tied in lock-step with the U.S. even as they gain open access to our energy resources.

Our national media stays silent and so Canadians remain unaware that their own CCCE and most powerful politicians are pushing for integration with the U.S. and Mexico completely outside of the usual democratic process. The only newspaper to report anything on this as yet is the Banff Crag & Canyon, which is publishing an article on the conference today thanks to information provided by Mel Hurtig.

See "North American Forum held in secret at Banff Springs Hotel", September 19, 2006, at http://www.banffcragandcanyon.com/story.php?id=255375 , or main link http://www.banffcragandcanyon.com.

And of course here at Vive we are ready to do our part. Below please find the secret list of participants in the forum AND the agenda for the forum, thanks to Mel Hurtig's sources.

I hope every one of our readers and supporters will take it upon themselves to call their local and national media and demand coverage of the conference and of integration itself. It is a scandal that this process is being conducted in secret. We must also all talk to our politicians and demand that this become an open public debate. We must call the usual suspects who were involved in this conference, especially the chairs and co-chairs, and ask why they conducted it in secret among other uncomfortable questions. And we must especially talk about this with each other, with our friends, family, and neighbours, and spread the word, asking our American and Mexican neighbours do the same. Otherwise, we will all remain in the dark--until it is too late.
