11. Blatant lie. The House leadership couldn't even remember if they had
spoken amongst themselves about Foley. Boehner changed his story and Hastert can't even remember. So who exactly was doing the investigating if the finger pointing was going on ???? Why were the Democrats not informed ? Why was Foley allowed to run for re-election unopposed in the Republican primary ? Why did National Republicans not recruit a strong candidate against him ???

If they were going to expel him, why hadn't they tagged someone else to run on the repuke ticket in Florida? And to wait a year while Foley tip toes through the Pages? They are going to need to spin this better, or it is not going to go away.
