Are the Media / Republicans Staying Away From Words Like, "Gay?"

Or is it just my imagination?

Granted I've only watched two hours of CNN coverage today, or it watched me.

But it just seemed odd, because, you know, I find it odd that no one has brought up Foley's 'yea' vote on the Defense of Marriage Act.

And it seems to me, that's just one more thing to hit at him with. Obviously, trolling for teen boys isn't putting oneself on the marriage market.

We need to be sensitive about this, but let's be real: if this were a Democrat, the headlines would read: "Gay Congressman Harrassed Teen Male Pages."

If this were a Democrat, Bay Buchanan would have been on CNN saying, "gay gay gay gay gay."

Seems like there ought to be a way we could stride the line to highlight the Foley's vote in the context of an *unhealthy* (as opposed to healthy) attitude to his homosexuality.
