And then there is reality. Serious serious reality.



When I was young and poor, I was the happiest. Nothing was serious.

One time on the freeway, James (who changed his name to James, from Jimmy, after we saw James Brown), and I were flying along in his 72 Impala convertable. And I remember saying to the car in front to get out of our way. And James said something like, Yeah, get out of our way so we can get in someone's way. It was like an acknowledgment that where we were going was no more important than where they were going.


Well, I turned this two word post into a small novel. :)
