What Would Winston Think of Bush's Detentions and Military Tribunals?
The power of the Executive to cast a man into prison without formulating any charge known to the law, and particularly to deny him the judgement of his peers, is in the highest degree odious and is the foundation of all totalitarian government whether Nazi or Communist. — Winston Churchill

1. Let's just repeat that...

3. Especially as rightwingnuts and bush himself looove to compare Winnie
to bush.

Fact is, even their hero Ronald Reagan thought bush was a stupid MFer. So would Winnie.

Our Founding Fathers would have called bush a traitor.

4. Winston Churchill new what he and his country were fighting for:
the rights and freedoms of a great nation. He would never have been party to stripping these rights from the people because of a threat from either inside or outside the nation. What *ss and Co. have done is strip our nation of the reason we have always been willing to fight for: the Constitutional freedoms.
