On CSPAN this am they had a discussion group from Georgetown -
Tome Daschel was talking with Cook. It was pretty straight analysis.
Cook's point is good. That the gop efort depends on abundant enthusiasim vrs the dem effort based on hourly workers. He said that the dem methodolgy may be more mediocre, but that in his opinion he'd go with the mediocrity of the dems here. That a significant lack of enthusiasim will doom the former and the plodding mechanics of the later would go forward no matter what.
If someone else watched this, I'd be interested in your take on it.
1. There are loads of enthusiastic dem volunteers in my campaign
Tammy Duckworth is attracting dozens every weekend from Chicago, and more from her district. There might be some paid canvassers, but I haven't seen any. I think the GOP his going to have a tough time getting motivated volunteers this time. Everyone except the bushbots is wondering what the hell happened in Iraq. Not a fun topic for a Repuke.
