Did you know that they may be bringing Hastert in this week? And right now, they are talking to his top aides.

If he goes through those doors this week, I guarantee you it will be in the lead off headline stories again.

Foley was a fucked up gay sexual predator who used his influence to get sex with underage boys. but to call him a pedophile reinforces in people's minds the idea that pedophiles are gay, when most of them, actually, are not. to be sexually attracted to a 16 year old of the same sex means you have serious gay tendencies, to be seriously attracted to a 6 year old of the same sex makes you a pedophile.

as much as Republicans themselves are (I would hope we're not even using it). Strange, isn't it, how just the word "underage" conjures up child molestation in their minds; one wonders why (but may not want to know). Child molestation is an awful thing, but plainly this case isn't really that. Nevertheless, some laws may well have been broken and the investigation needs to be performed and if it causes Republicans to imagine the worst; oh well, what can we do.

Republicans have to wrestle with their own ghosts, and in this case, it seems to be to our advantage politically. Merely reminding them Foley exists is probably enough... Of course, if they take this as far as they are want to do, we might even see them begin pursuing some further draconian laws regarding sex in general... (just wait until the theocracy is in full control, the word "sex" will probably be outlawed...)

It could be a fundraiser for Boy and Girl Scouts, held on "K" Street, and hosted by Jack Abramoff with a "Golden Egg Hunt" as the main attraction.

As soon as they are all inside, local DUers, bricks and mortar in hand, can rush down and Masonically brick them all inside.

Have the building stripped bare, except for about 400 sattelite channels continuously streaming porn, and without a bite of food inside. I figure about 60 days should do it.

The GOP eat their own, so this will insure that it happens really, rather than metaphorically.
