7. For those who need a quick explanation
The "chyron" is the graphic at the bottom of the screen. Fox News's chyrons frequently ask "leading questions" such as the one shown here. The defense, of course, is that they're not SAYING the statement on the chyron is true or false, they're just "asking the question."

You know, like the guy who asks "When did you stop beating your wife?" He can say, innocently, "I never said you beat your wife. I simply asked when you stopped."

10. The mythological Chiron was a Centaur
Who lived in a cave on Mount Pelion in ancient Greece. He was a mystic, astrologer, story teller, and a healer. He was the principal teacher of Jason, Hercules, Asclepius, and dozens of other Greek heros. He stood for truth and integrity, and no doubt would piss on Fox and every biased thing they do to advance NeoCon propaganda.

11. For anyone who doesn't know.
That was an actual message on the screen once.

I've been to a cable TV control room and a network news control room. They have one person who handles the graphics.....they shuffle things aroudn to react to live events, feed problems, etc....and sometimes they put in placeholders for the final content.

So the guy at Fox must have entered: "Blame liberals for high gas prices" as a placeholder and it never got replaced....so it went out on the air. Why the director didn't notice sooner is beyond me.

But it was a powerful look behind the curtain.

8. I can't believe anyone even takes this network
seriously on ANY level. Their blatant avoidance of any journalistic principle is so obvious that even most rightwingers don't quote them during any serious discussion of an issue because it immediately costs them credibility.
