If we manage to win the House in spite of the electronic voting machines...
...we still have to make it a priority to get rid of electronic voting machines.

And if we don't get the US House, we still need to try to get our state governments in states which have them to get rid of electronic voting machines.

Check out this thread, on press the Democrat, get the Republican on the confirmation screen:

1. Those damn machines!
All the polls look good for Democrats. Soccer Moms and NASCAR Dads are reportedly abandoning the GOP. Americans in general seem to be completely fed up with the arrogance, corruption and lack of oversight in our government.

And yet ... although I honestly believe we will get the most votes, I'm not confident that we'll win. After reading Bradblog's post, I'm depressed.

If they steal it again, what will we do? What can we do? I'm not trying to be a "downer" - I'm just being realistic. We're already getting reports of the same old problems and it's not even election day yet! Combine that with Bush's proclamation that the GOP will retain both Houses of Congress and Rove's "We've got THE MATH" statement and we'd have to be idiots not to suspect theft.

Seriously folks ... is there ANYTHING we can do to prevent this from happening again?

2. Prevent it? Nope
We've done all we could do to this point. Now its up to the people.

We all know that the Dems should win in a landslide. So if the landslide is stopped, you, me, and everyone else needs to become the media and broadcast our feelings about the stolen elections.

We may not have been able to prevent it, but we can make sure they don't get away with it.

4. Can't prevent it but there is enough awareness and polls so far in our
favor we can make it obvious

5. After we win
and we get to chair the committees, cleaning up elections should be a priority.

It's something we could always look back upon with pride.

Clean it up and let the American people know that they can trust that their votes count. From now on.

The only way we are ever going to get this done is by electing the Democratic Party this Fall. That's it. It's the only way. The Republicans have been in power all these years and they obviously like things just the way they are.

Vote Democratic. And take your Cousin Larry and your grandmother with you when you go. This is important.
