Every Right wing policy is a reactionary reflection of a Left wing one.

They have no original ideas.

There isn't a single piece of right wing ideology that isn't a twisted schoolyard-creep lockstepping AGAINST the left.

THAT's why *they* continue to support that ludicrious creature in the White House. They can't do anything else. They don't know how.

Here is how this can be known: on questioning of their belief structure, attempting to discern some form of logical structure, some way in which it resembles a response to the conditions under which human beings live together, they first come out with mildly ignorant homilies, then when beaten on them come out with brave-sounding homilies (to them), then retreat to authoritarian homilies and then collapse into frothing.

Their beliefs are so badly riddled with paradoxes and logical fractures proceeding from their desperate desire to fake independence not by BEING something but by NOT being something else, i.e. a "hippy", whatever that means these days, that logic becomes FORBIDDEN to them.

It's getting to the stage now where some of those characters are starting to conflate environmentalism with satanism because satanism is the opposite of one of their cherished memes and so obviously *must* be part of what we all believe, and environmentalism is part of what we all believe. So they must be related.

....

They have one magic suprevillain's superpower and it is this - the ability to make meaningless and useless connections between concepts and spread these stupid conflations out across the minds of the world like a virus.

Each and every one of their stupid policies is like this. These policies are not just *brought about* by some kind of *stupid* logical flaw by accident, but are ACTIVELY FOUNDED on such flaws, and *maintained* *using* these flaws as BAIT. Their movement DEPENDS ON OURS for its SURVIVAL.

It may, in future, reach the stage where logic itself (the real kind, not the dribbling rubbish they howl out over the airwaves labelled as such) will become a leverage poihnt against which they will feel that they must align themselves. They'll just rename it. "Rationalisation" or something.

Discuss.

1. In many ways, the Clinton presidency was their defining moment.
He was the personification of everything they hated - true compassion, intelligence, a belief that government is a force for good, plus all that 60s baggage to remind them of the culture wars they LOST.

They have succeeded in large part by drawing the lines between "us" and "them," and making sure to associate everything negative with "them" so that even if there are some things about "us" you don't really like, voting for "them" is pure evil. Manipulating the minds of the sheeple.

Good post.
