Dear Reverend Haggard,
Yes I believe you and you are forgiven. You are a powerful pastor of a 14,000 member church and the President (well former) of the National Association of Evangelicals with over 30 million Christians. You are a good Christian man and father.
I cannot believe the liberal media would really bash you like this. You are a terribly stressed individual who simply needed a back rub. It is easy to believe that out of the 2,000 licensed massage therapists in Colorado you accidentally came upon (bad choice of words) an unlicensed male gay prostitute to rub out those kinks in your rhomboid muscles. Could have happened to anyone.
Of course about 99% of therapeutic messages are given either at spa locations or in private homes. Yours just happened to take place in a hotel. I'm sure your therapist was in transition between jobs and didn't have a suitable table for your needs. A hotel would have made perfect sense.
And what is a massage without aromatherapy. Of course most therapists use a variety of sensual creams and oils with scents of cedarwood or lavender, your massage therapist was partial to crystal meth. Not your traditional aromatic relaxer, but again, anyone could have made that mistake.
Because your massage therapist had utmost concern about that kinky back of yours he wanted to supply you with an ample supply of meth for better post massage relaxation. He was simply looking out for you.
These claims that this gay male massage therapist had sex with you is complete liberal media bias. How dare this sodomite accuse you of being gay. I know as soon as you found out the crystal meth was a narcotic you immediately threw it away. You were so under such distress that you cannot even remember where you threw it away.
Any sane, rational person can see that this was all a big mistake. Jesus will forgive you Reverend Haggard. He is the way and knows your truth. I hope and pray that my children grow up to be an honorable individual like yourself. I am so happy you came out (another bad choice of words) and cleansed yourself of your sins.
Love,
A faithful follower
>>Haggard says he bought the meth from a gay escort, 49-year-old Michael Jones, after contacting him for a massage.
Haggard says he never used the meth and instead threw it away.
However, Haggard could not remember where he threw the meth away.
According to Haggard, he met with Jones in a Denver hotel room.<<
