It's underway - 72 hour blitz - CBS Schieffer just confirmed it on.
behalf of the theives. His first words out of the gate on his Sunday show - Republicans are closing the gap. What does this mean? It's a redux of the evening two years ago. The media starts helping the theft by planting the idea that the Republican vote is coming around - this way the theft is faciliatated. If the lead on Tusday morning is SAID TO BE 4, 5, 6, 7 per cent, it is more difficult to steal and obstruct votes to validate a Republican win. If the margin is o, 1, 2, 3 - it will be much easier to steal or obstruct the vote.

There are all kinds of people who are just starting to think about what they are going to do on Tuesday - make arrangements to go, decide who long they will stand in a line, who they will vote for. The famous 72 hour hour is here. Many are just making up their mind.

Other more diligent and concerned citizens have already been observing the polls (closely or not) and if they hear Bob Schieffer and all the other right wing mouths say the Republicans are catching up - this is the great psychologocal win after the thefts.

This is what happened in 2004 - the networks reversed their poll reports starting late at night to HELP ROVIANS decide on the 'numbers' - and this was after abandoning their quite accurate exit polling syste EN MASSE and with barely an explanation (lie or not). You see, they couldn't provide accuracy because they participated in a theft. Same thing now under way.

1. Ah the hell with it
I'm just not going to vote. My vote won't count anyway so why bother? In actuality, I have every intention of voting, but attitudes like yours may just be enough to discourage others. Enough already!

Its going to be extremely close on t.v. because they are part of the show....

Enough people are awakened... Everyday it is becoming clearer... Positive thoughts go a long way.

4. So, what can you do?
Edited on Sun Nov-05-06 10:53 AM by sfexpat2000
Challenge the rhetoric to everyone that offers it to you.

VOLUNTEER in a minority or in a student precinct or one with a lot of retirees. Those are the Thug's targets.

Document! Document everything from the whores in your local paper that repeat the Republican talking points to the behavior of election workers that suppress the vote.

There's plenty you can do and need to do to protect the election.

/oops

6. Alright the theft of 2006 is begun
Is everyone out there ready to take to the streets once this charade takes place?

Trying not be a prophet of doom and gloom, but this is not a helpful sign. This Tuesday, take people with you to vote (only if the're a dem). We need big numbers on our side to not only defeat the repubs, but the election machine and the media machine. Also remember to tell poll watchers if there is any problem when you vote or contact videothevote.org so that there will be evidence of this crime.

The time to fight starts now with the vote.

What does Mike Malloy say? "There are 4 boxes to be used in the defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo. Use them in this order."

We are on #2 this week...

11. Let's help them by only repeating the negative words here on DU!!
Aren't we essentially carrying their water by repeating to a large audience - amplifying if you will - one sentence from a man who is anything but a RWer?

12. The Dems have their own blitz plan that has been active for
several days now, and will continue through Tues.

Haven't you heard of "Call for Change" put together by MoveOn?

Their plan is to makemillions of GOTV calls, and you can volunteer to make calls by joining a group in your area of even making them from your home. I made calls yesterday. The contact numbers they give you are to Dems or thosethat have been determined to be leaning Dem.

Volunteer today to make some calls!

13. Not enough. MoveOn ran a great GOTV effort in 2004. Not enough.
Vote AND volunteer to monitor the vote. We need to do BOTH.

Why do we talking about voting as if it's some herculean effort?

Vote AND volunteer to mind vulnerable precincts. It's one day every two years. Give an hour or two hours.

Get out the vote -- then, get the vote COUNTED.

16. Any poll tightening might have reflected the Kerry flap-doodle
IT takes a few days for the polls to reflect -- but since Thursday, the news has been disastrous for the Rs: Haggard, Nuke secrets on Internet, Los Alamos codes to activate A-Bombs stolen, and others. Outside of Saddam sentenced to death, the last 4 days have been all great for the Dems.

Plus the media would know nothing or never report the much improved 50-state strategy of the Dems this year. I believe the worst we can do is not take the Senate by one seat.

Which, given easy Dem filibusters and a Dem House basically puts the Dems in the legislative driver's seat. Of course Mad King George is still in there (and we certainly don't want to impeach that idiot). Then we run against Bush and Rumsfeld AGAIN in '08.

18. You can hear what you want to hear
Everything I have heard in the last few days is very encouraging for Democrats. This time they ain't going to steal it because we are getting out the vote like never before. A majority of the country is fed up with the clowns in this administration and it will be reflected in this election. Call everyone you know. I have been on the phone all morning calling friends and relatives. I have 7 folks who work for me and all but 1 is voting against Dennis Hastert. I am giving them all an hour off Tuesday to go vote. Let's get over our paranoia and get to work.

19. In my defense ----- I will trust in good over evil in the long run. It's
the short run we have to be concerned about.

This is a psychologocical and strategical war on us.

If more people know what they are going to try to do to us, the more awake they will be. If they are awake, they can waken others. Being woken for the first time, means being awake in the long run. Starting to get an insight in how a theft works is essential to crime solving and prevention. It's basic criminology.

If they do steal widely, there defense of theft and the way they are going to wiggle out of it is by saying their Republican base rallied in the last hours and any doubters came through. This is what they did to us in 2004.

I was a victim of the euphoria. SOme of you call me a pessimist and claim I am abetting the criminals. I prefer to believe that I am a realist and I don't want to facilitate their rational for explaining away their imminent crime. (SInce I have no doubts at all that they are going to try to steal again as they are desparate to stay in power.)

I have no doubt in my mind that they could not get away with the thefts if they did not have GE Microsoft, Time-Warner, Murdoch, ABC-Disney-Viacom and all the parent companies paving the way.

I don't think anyone can argue with what I'm saying, but some have the perception that it is negative and facilitates them?

I prefer to be a realist over burying my head in the sand to satisfy someone's perception.

I believe in this country and this country has a crime problem. The criminals are our leaders. I believe every one should understand how they pull it off.
