We have all seen the Bushbaby's temper tantrums when he doesn't get his own way. He has enjoyed 'playing' president as long as it included having the unquestioned rubber-stamp support of others.

The polls leading up to this election, IMHO, are as important as the election results themselves. The Republicans have been given the message, in no uncertain terms, that the country is extremely unhappy (to put it mildly) with the way the government has been run under BushCo. They have the smarts to know (well, some of them anyway) that the only chance they have to retain seats in future, and potentially retain the WH, is by distancing themselves from here on in from Bush and his failed policies.

Come what may, Little Georgie is NOT going to like what's about to happen to his little fantasy empire.

We all know what happens when a sulking child, who is used to having their own way, starts hearing the word "NO" over and over - they tend to pick up their toys and go home.

I doubt Congress will want to tie itself up with an impeachment that is likely to fail unless any of 3 conditions exist:

First, he doesn't like the outcome and declares martial law.

Second, he doesn't like the outcome and vetoes everything that crosses his desk, even the budget.

Third, he provokes open war against Iran.

Congress will have no choice at any of these points.

needed to convict.

And some of those 55 wouldn't even vote for conviction.
