:kick: "Among registered Democrats polled, 52% say they're more enthusiastic about voting than usual, compared with just 39% of Republicans. Thirty-seven percent of Republican respondents are less enthusiastic than usual, while only 29% of Democrats feel that way."

7. Republicans will feel MUCH better if they stay home
Take a nice, long bath. Go for a walk. Have a day long Chuck Norris film marathon. You'll feel better by Wednesday, I promise.

9. They'll be drinking cheap bourbon, crying and singing

To fiiiiiiight the unbeatable foe

(Boo-hoo-hoo)

etc.

After a few hours of this they will wet themselves and go to bed.

10. I'll be spending Election Night with a bunch of Pubbies ...
My bluegrass band is being paid damn good money to play for Trent Lott's election night soiree in Jackson, MS (some of you may recall that we played for his campaign a week or so ago; they're having us back). They'll be watching the returns, of course, and while Lott's seat is in no danger, it will be very interesting to see the reacton of the crowd to the national returns.

I'm predicting some long faces and lots of alcohol. I plan to be "incognito" as I'd like to get out alive and be able to cash my check. Oh, that's one reason I'm going to try not to gloat ... that whole "getting out alive" thing. It should be most enlightening.
