I voted absentee today - Muskogee, Oklahoma
I was number 576. That is 100 more than voted by this time during the primary election in August.

1. Is that good or bad? For Muskogeeans, that is?
My parents grew up in Oklahoma, so we visited the grandparents in OK about twice a year my entire childhood - Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Tahlequah, Quapaw, Wagner...

4. SM -> Strongly Democrat-IC. We are the Democratic Party...
The Publicans removed the 'ic' so that Democrat rhymes with rat and because "Democratic" makes people feel warm and fuzzy and the Publicans don't want anyone to feel warm and fuzzy about us.

Don't let them define us -- :hi:

5. Oklahoma is fed up
sounds good neighbor. Two years ago coming across the strip, we passed through a town that was plastered with reptile signs. They were everywhere, on buildings, houses, cars, trees, everywhere, a veritable trove of repukism.
When we came to a house that was covered with Democratic signs, I turned to my wife and said, Now there's balls.

6. I voted absentee today too, but my e-voting boycott backfired
Dumb. I didn't realize all they would do was to give me the same, optiscan paper ballot I would have gotten tomorrow. On top of that, they put my filled out ballot in an envelope that had my name on it, so whoever opens it can see how I voted! Makes me grumpy.

7. I'm sacrificing (giving up) my absentee ballot in CA tomorrow, so I can be counted
Edited on Mon Nov-06-06 04:20 PM by GreenTea
tomorrow, the same day...I'll trade in my absentee ballot for a paper ballot and vote tomorrow as planned!

I hope those who still have absentee ballots will do the same.
