Activism to end Iraq invasion/occupation; bring the troops home Now; take care of them when they get home in work I have done via Military Families Speak Out since 2003 invasion. Two in our family are returning Iraq veterans. Someone here at DU did graciously gift me an unsolicited star one year, which was very kind. I also recall when folks here at DU helped with donations when our Washington state governor election was in trouble in 2004 elections and helped us get now Governor Christine Gregoire elected. I think that there are secret angels on DU who went to this thread and the others and touched and gave a star to everyone who did not have one.
