I see this as a positive. Although I disagree with much of their stance, they are lashing out at the Bush Neo-Con way and are looking to bring power back to more old school style conservatism.

You know what as I said I disagree with these people on alot of things but I'd much rather be forced to compromise with them than the bush neo-cons. I really believe that if these types of conservatives were in power, sure we'd find lots to complain about, but we wouldn't be in Iraq and we wouldn't have a debt as far as the eye can see...

2. Or that they do like they say they want to and create their own party.
Then, like the Greens, they can siphon away the votes of the main party, not winning any seats nohow.

6. Which Means That The Republicans Are Done
Their 'success' for the last 20 years has been based on a marriage of convenience between the social and economic conservatives.

If they alienate even 25% of the fundy base, the landscape changes. In fact, I think we just saw what that landscape looks like.

4. That's the difference -- you can negotiate with a conservative, but not with a neocon.
Two very different ideologies.

7. You're not going to negotiate with Viguerie-Rove's Mentor
Or Bozell or Wendy Wright or Bossie. They're all Rightwing Zealots, they are more extreme than the republicans!
