1. Being at war is just proving to be more and more advantageous to bush.

Is this another reason we invaded Iraq? Because if his wiretapping had been discovered and we weren't at war in Iraq, then on what basis would bush supporters rationalize his criminal action? That we're at war with a phantom that will never go away; i.e., the war on terror?

Yes, bush loves war, for all kinds of reasons. Especially the power it gives him.

2. K & R - John Yoo's memos have been used as an excuse to destroy

the US constitution, though this certainly does not excuse BushCo for the use they've made of them in "justifying" torture, warrantless spying on US citizens, and the president's supposed (by Yoo) SOLE power to declare war.

This little ass-kisser-for-hire is responsible for some of the most infamous "legal" memos ever in this country. And now he has a tenured position in the U Cal system, teaching the NEXT generation of legal eagles.

I don't know how we ever got along without your Can-o-Fun site before you put it up. I can't imagine how much effort it takes to keep it current, let alone how much it itook to set up the site in the first place.
