And in the end, George Allen gets the shaft repeatedly!
He didn't even want to be a Senator again. He spent so much time in Iowa and New Hampshire, often joking about how he wanted to run for President, and how it was "boring to be a Senator."

And in one fell swoop, he loses a Senate seat he didn't want, and a chance at becoming a President. Wallowing around in pity for the past 24 hours, his team decides one thing - Allen's not going to be the last man standing. So, they decide to concede and let Burns be the man holding the bag, as they say.

And then Burns concedes first.

Now and forever more, George Felix "Macaca" Allen will be known to the right-wing faithful as The Man Who Didn't Fight and Gave the Senate to the Democrats. For the next few years, he gets to be saddled with this title, and as a Virginia, I think it's pure karma (and funny as hell to boot).

5. We get hurricanes in Virginia that take out 200-year-old oaks.
They won't have any trouble with the little sapling that is Felix Macaca.
