1. There is no reason bush is still in office, other than politics.
I don't care if it looks like we're picking on him, I am. I don't care if it looks like we're getting even for Clinton, or we're going to ruin the country or any of the other wishy-washy reasons. Nothing could undermine this country the way the bush adm has done in the last 6 years. We deserve a chance to survive as a free country. With bush in office, it's getting worse everyday.

3. As A CITIZEN of the WORLD......
As a Citizen of the WORLD, I say BUSH/CHENEY/RICE MUST be IMPEACHED!!!

Then CONVICTED!!!

Then, once out of office, they MUST BE sent to the INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE where they will be INDICTED for CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY and WAR CRIMES!!!!

Then, they MUST BE IMPRISONED -- EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM!!!

They ought to be imprisoned in the same hell-holes in Guantanamo that they have ILLEGALLY HELD HUNDREDS!!

And their guards ought to be the people who are now being held and tortured illegally!!!!!!!

6. HARSH??!! I DON'T THINK SO!!!
It may SOUND HARSH, but it is really quite mild in comparison to the OFFICIALLY ORDERED TORTURE of INNOCENT PEOPLE!!

It is MILD when compared to the OFFICIALLy ORDERED BOMBING OF INNOCENT PEOPLE!!!

It is MILD in comparison to the REVOCATION OF CIVIL RIGHTS WITHIN THE US!!

It is MILD in comparison to CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY perpertrated by Bush, Cheney, Rice, Ruumy, and all the OTHER THUGS who compose the current vile, digusting cabal/regime of LYING THUGS!!!

5. I'd sign a petition calling for the RECALL of Bush & Cheney.
If they got enough of these maybe someone would figure out that the call for Impeachment is real, or maybe they'd just resign.

7. Someone earlier said if the process doesn't work for the will
of the people, maybe we should change the constitution to replace impeachment with a recall amendment for the president and vice president. That sounds like a good idea.

10. No Provision for RECALL!!
As far as I know, there is NO provision -- NO LEGAL WAY -- to "recall" Bush and Cheney.

They MUST be removed either through impeachment or through REVOLUTION!!

Good patriot and loyal, law-biding American that I am, I would NEVER advocate removing our President or Vice-President by forceful revolution.

Which leaves only IMPEACHMENT!!!

(I do like your idea of a massive outpouring of PUBLIC OUTRAGE, though!)

11. OK so far
We have 2 trolls, 1 very honest wimp, and 5 that think political expediency should trump the rule of law. My question is: Should it be trumped at any time, or just in this unique situation?

12. Never. Politics can wait. And, in this case, there are 1000s of lives in the balance.
The world truly cannot wait.

13. But how do you explain the people that believe in
the importance of political expediency? It seems like they don't want to explain it.

16. IMPEACH THE BASTARD!!!
It is my duty as an American citizen to enforce the Constitution and to stop Bush crime spree once and for all.

I want Justice! Plain and simple. This isn't vengeance or personal hatred, it's about justice I seek.

We demand Justice!

20. Okay
I'll leave my vote in my post, then. :hi:

I agree impeachment is the right thing to do, but it has to be done in such a way that we have a good chance of actually removing him from office.

23. We must force Conyers to investigate
According to Cynthia McKinney he will not...

gnn.tv has the best up to date coverage and behind the scenes…
and it might be a surprise to some that it looks as if John Conyers is not even planning on pursuing investigations.

Will other members of congress support the action Congresswoman McKinney has brought forth?

At the table in what could be considered her impeachment “war room” the question is brought up a number of times.

Mike, an advisor to McKinney, mentions, “Conyers was supposed to have investigations. They were chomping at the bit 6 months ago to do subpoenas.”

McKinney quietly replies, “Now they say they aren’t even going to issue subpoenas.”
